EDIT: Okay, there's been some confusion. I had this fanfic idea that I fleshed out a bit (TO MYSELF) that I never did anything with. But this is like... I dunno... something from that. So that's why she's standing on Danny's grave. It's something about Danny being dead and confused and Dani rescuing him from a dungeon and trying to help him figure out just how and when he died. Or something. So yeah. Ignore the tombstone; I just wanted something for her to stand on!

So.

I drew this like... last week. I've always been a fan of the old FANTASTIC rumor that circulated last year that Danny died at the end of DP and became like... Clockwork's apprentice or something. I dunno. Danny being Clockwork sounded so cornishly cool.

I'm also a fan of the idea that when Dani runs off for the last time, SHE ends up in the vicinity of Clockwork.

I've been dying to do a Clockwork!Danny ever since I first saw this one by *MischiefManaged. But after elaborating a bit on a fleeting fic idea that included Dani is this garb, I just HAD to draw it.

So... it's partly art from a fanfic that was never written, partly me being crazy. I love Clockwork, I really do. I have to draw him myself one day!

So.... yeah. I've been working on this a little bit every day since Wednesday, when I first scanned it. You can see an incredibly rough version here. I dunno, I just really wanted to get the shading down, which I think I did... partly, anyway. YEAH. This took awhile. And Dani's older here, too, btw. This takes place about four years after canon, so I'd say she's about 16.
