Wow. This took FOREVER.

This is a contest entry for the Dani Crossover Contest over at ~DanniPhantomClub. The contest was "Make a DP crossover type thing with Dani". So, I did. I actually meant to enter the last two contests but I never got around to scanning in my entries, so I was determined to make this one. Neee! This was so fun!

Anastasia is one of my all-time favorite movies. It was also one of my favorite things to learn about in History. So, naturally, since I'm on my Anastasia-high, I decided to cross it with DP for the contest. WHEEEEE. I'm in the middle of watching it too, psh.

Since there is SO MUCH to this picture already, and if you've seen the movie you can probably make some assumptions, I'll just mention a few things.

A)

I LOVE DANI. In the front. With the dress. She looks AWESOME! So awesome I posted her alone earlier. I also love her sparklies.

B)

I ALSO LOVE VLAD. GHFDGHJKDHGD HE CAME OUT AWESOME. Even if you can't really see him, it's like "BRAAR FANGS NYAH BLOOD SPLATTERED DARK BACKGROUND OF WONDERMENT." Wheeee. Quite obviously, Vlad = Rasputin. HEHEHE. Closest I've ever come to drawing Vladdie.

C)

DANI CAME OUT GOOD EVERYWHERE. In the corner there as Anya with Danny (aka Dmitri). She's chillin. I colored their clothes to correspond with the way their clothes are colored in the show. I was originally gonna do that with Dani's "Dream Waltz" dress, (hence the white hair, she was gonna be DANI PHANTOM), but love that dress far too much. XD; Tuck was in the first draft (He was Vlad in the Anastasia sense - the big crazy guy.) But he didn't make it past sketch. XD;

D)

MADDIE SUCKS. She's supposed to be the Dowager Empress Marie, but she looks pretty bad. XD; And I guess that doesn't really make sense since like, Danny isn't Nicholas I, he's Dmitri... Anyway... Oh yeah, Paulina was in there as Sophie (for obvious reasons), but she also didn't make the final cut.

E)

THE NECKLACE TEXT SUCKS, SHUT UP. Other than that I LOVE the necklace!

UMM RANDOM BACKGROUNDS. WHEEEE. Representing things. Like the dark scary bloody background = "I MUST KILL ALL THE ROMANOVS!" and the pretty flowery background is like "OMG I love Dmitri BUT HE SUCKS!" And... yeah. I guess technically this is Danny/Dani, since Dani = Anya/Anastasia and Danny = Dmitri, but whatever.

I'll stop babbling now. x_o; This took me faaaaaaaar too long... This is what I get for doodling at noon with new mechanical pencils.
